Hi. Anyone have any recommendations on a knife.. with a small blade with a full sized handle. Example, the original Spyderco Yojimbo. I am going to pick up a Hogue Microswitch with the sub 2" blade. Thanks.

Folder or fixed blade?

For a quality but affordable handmade knife, look at the Landi PSK.

It's a fixed blade... I will have to do some thinking about a folder...

Your best bet would be to buy the platform you like the best, and have the blade reground.

The newly introduced Sog-Tac California Special may be up your alley.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I am going thru them now. Not exactly what I am looking for.. since I am not really sure either. Guess was hoping for a modern day Yo1. I like the idea of having a knife reground though. Never had that done before, so not sure where to go. Will check out the people recommended in this thread. Thanks again!

Emerson makes a model designed exactly for this. The Emerson cqc-14 stubby.

Alternatively you could get someone to shorten a blade for you.
