Meet the boys from Boker: the Rambler, the Rhino, and the Gnome. I can get all three of these in one pocket, with sheaths. These are some nice little knives. Boker's Plus line continues to impress me.

Love and have them all, too! Check out the Gent's Scalpel. A great knife as well.

About as small as Boker gets. 8288 Pen Red Bone. Until recently, my EDC for over 10 years.

Very cool! How's the edge holding and general performance with the gnome? I like to edc a small fixed blade to compliment my folder, and I've been looking at the gnome for a while.

Those are some great designs, do you have an opinion on which one works best or a favorite?

I like the Rambler best. Edge retention wise, I haven't really had a chance to do a whole lot with them. The Rambler cut my steak pretty well.

I like them also. Would love to see a review. Fit & finish , edge geometry and retention. 440c right?

All but the Rhino, which is 12c27. They are all hair shaving sharp. Fit and finish are nice, especially for the price. Rambler seems to be shallow hollow grind. Not quite a flat grind. Same goes for the Gnome and Rhino.

I am going to get the Rambler within the coming weeks. If its not under the tree tomorrow I will be placing an order. It has a good steel for a steal of a price (pun intended). It will be my first attempt at an EDC fixed blade due to its small overall length and its decent cutting edge. Very eager to try it out.
