Small boot knife

Just got this of Ebay. Early 80's 2751 model boot knife with ivory micarta handle. Overall length of 6 3/8". Made in Japan

Just need to find a sheath for it.

Interesting Dagger. I've seen a few other knives like that on Ebay listed as 1970's to 1980's Kabars but have never seen that marking. Never bid on any because I thought Olean NY is where Kabar had always been. Sure is pretty!

Also, isn't Ka-bar usually capitalized? Kinda smells like a fake to me... But I'm no expert.

KA-BAR Model #2751, known as "The Kid" was manufactured from 1980 - 1987. That marking was frequently used when production was in Cleveland, OH.

Seem to be pretty rare. I did some searching around, and there isn't much information on this knife. I look forward to seeing more of this knife!
