Well it ended up looking like an ejection button, hence the name. Best I could come up with. :o

Nothing ground breaking but shop time being very limited these days, I am just happy to finally have a finished knife to show. I've had this laminated fittings idea in my head for a while and I am fairly happy about how it turned out. I will surely explore it further in the future.

A small note about the handle shape. The wider lower part of the handle ala Bruce Bump was not in the original design. I did not even think about it until I finished shaping the handle and was actually surprised that it ended up looking like that. The fact that I love that type of handle on Bruce's famous bowies obviously influences my work and I wanted to thank him for that.

Blade length: 4 1/2”
OAL: 9 5/8”
Grind: Flat
Steel: 5160, 203E, 52100 and 15N20 (Random pattern from Alabama Damascus)
Handle: Double Dyed Maple Burl (Stabilized)
Fittings: Stainless steel, copper
Take-down construction

Thanks for looking.

Patrice, I was showing my wife my two knives for the winter kith, feeling pretty good about where I am at now, then I looked at this post on my computer, rather than on my phone, and could see the detail in this knife. Back to the woodshed for me to keep practicing. :)

Patrice, A beautiful knife. Interesting and appealing play on the fittings.
Thanks for the mention of my name.

Thanks again guys, much appreciated.

Willie, believe me it is a good sign that you feel that way. It means that you are striving to get better. I feel exactly the same looking at some knives out there and I hope I always do. Actually some even make me feel like just throwing all my tools in the nearest brook. ;)

Very cool looking knife Patrice. I like the use of the negative space. The spacer in the middle of the handle is very unique.

That is cool Patrice it is so different its like a shot of fresh and new from the ejector

Nice knife, brutha! Your work has become easy for me to identify without looking at the name- it's "Lemee style" for sure.

Very beautiful Patrice!! Will this one sit on a stand similar to the Inquisitor? It looks like that cap is for mounting.
Terrific work!!

Thanks for the great compliments. :o

Robert, no stand for this one, a sheath when I get time. But I have another knife in the works I want to finish first.

An in-hand and a take-down pic was requested on another forum I posted it to so I thought some of you guys might be interested also. Sorry for the long delay between this and the original shots.

Thanks for looking.
