Looks GREAT!!! What steel?
You knives just keep getting cooler... one of these days I am going to have to place an order. :D

That is VERY COOL! The blade shape, handles, and fit & finish are superb, great work!

Wow Ban that is awesome! What is the steel and thickness?

Folks I was lucky enough to handle Ban's personal bowie at Blade and let me tell you it is a gem of a knife. The handle is one of the most ergonomic comfortable knife handles I have ever had in my hand.

I am also loving the wide orange liners. Something new, unique and fresh.

This one is a winner!:)

This one is 3/16 thick A2. I am have a drop point version drawn up and traced onto bar stock. Just never got around to profiling and grinding it out yet.

I'll say it again, this is one fine knife. Silverband, you always get the nicest knives...i'm going to have to make a trip over to ya one of these days to check your collection out :)

HMano,

This one IS THE NICEST! I can safely say this is my favorite Ban design. I
am a hopeless addict of fine knives, as most here. You don't do to bad yourself H Mano....

I vote this knife Best Handle (looks and feel) , Best blade geometry, and most practical size.

Order one now, you won't regret the wait....

I think that the Small Bowie is a sleeper compared to the BT4s. Most folks are surprised by how comfortable the handle feels when they get to handle it. This is the main reason why I am deciding to make a drop point version for a more utilitarian blade.

It's on my list now :D

I know I was surprised at how comfy it is the last time I handled a small bowie. Looking forward to seeing how the drop-point version turns out
