Small Busse knives

I know most everyone is here for the huge 'ol choppers. What about the little guys?

I've been looking at the smaller knives for a companion to an FBM or NMFBM when out in the field for a week or so. Pork Shank looks good but kind of pricey for a small knife. Magnum Bear Cub? SAR?

What do you guys use in this role?
 
I found that the SAR3 or SAR4 works great for me depending on the task , the Game Warden & LMR would work well too.
 
CABS is my smaller fixed blade to go with my B11/KZII.

I just sold a BAD and Muck to make room for other knives. Any of those were great.
 
I use a Magnum Bear Cub as my EDC and find it's very good and comfortable to use . It's basically a fixed blade pocket knife and very handy as well as pretty tough .

My favorites are the Anorexic Basic 4 LE, Boney Active Duty (BAD,) and SAR-3. The Muk is pretty cool too.

Also, the Rodent Solution from the Swamp is one of the best and most ergonomic smaller blades I have ever used. SR101 is a great steel, especially for smaller blades.
 
I've always liked the smaller Busse knives. You can see from the pic what my preferences are. I prefer the Active Duty/Heavy Duty for most tasks.

My Active Duty is easily my most carried knife. I think it has been with me pretty much everyday since I first got it.

Really liked all of these but considering Ive sold all besides #3,4&5, (hack is the wardens) safe to say a 3.5" blade is my ideal small busse size, stuff that can be toted easily around the neck. More a big busse & SAK/folder guy myself. Smaller fixed blades dont get as much carry time around here. If they do, it better be reasonably slender stock.

I love my MBC, with a leather sheath its as classy as it gets! As mentioned above the Rodent Solution is also outstanding, but a little larger. I mainly carry the RS when doing outdoors stuff, and the MBC for edc stuff
