Small cable and buffalo horn hunter.

Yesterday, Bill Buxton sent me a picture of a very nice little hunter with a three inch blade. The blade, guard and butt cap are all made from cable. I love small hunters and I will be getting one like this in the near future. I think I would like a different handle material. Since stag is so darn expensive and hard to get, I was thinking maybe some other kind of antler. Whitetail or Red Deer or maybe elk. You folks have any suggestions?

It's really your call Keith, and I like all your choices. Add some wood spacers with the above, or do it all in wood. That horn is OK, but it's not my fave. In fact.....

That's a sweet little knife. About handle material, did you consider moose antler? I seems to be a very good material.
