Small Carbon Fiber Sebenza (Knifeart) or Mnandi...just can't decide

I don't known a CRK and I'm having a real tough time deciding between these 2. I know, I know...get both. Based on everybody's experience, are you really getting that much more with the Small Sebenza for light to medium EDC tasks? I don't plan on using either one of them very hard. I have some knives like the Rat 1 and American Lawman that serve that role just fine. I like a discreet knife for EDC and the Mnandi is very appealing to me in that aspect, but that carbon fiber Small Sebenza looks pretty sweet and is very light. I just wish it carried a little deeper in the pocket. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance for the comments.

For light to medium use the Mnandi is all you need. I prefer the looks of the Seb and the fact that it has a thumbstud. The Mnandi is way too small for my hands, the small seb is as well, I'm referencing against the larger CRKs I've owned.

If you like everything about the Mnandi and are only concerned about the Seb giving you more for your needs, don't be and get a Mnandi.

Both are gorgeous and the quality is top notch. If you prefer one handed opening Sebenza, if you prefer the more traditional two handed opening Mnandi. You may eventually end up with both which ain't a bad thing.:D

The Mnandi opens one handed too. It's slimmer and dressier than the seb.

The Mnandi looks better for church, dates, suit wearing.

Thanks for the feedback. Great info. I think I'm leaning towards the Mnandi and then picking up a large seb later on. The small seb just seems a little stuck in the middle to me. Thanks again.

I recently had the same debate with myself.
I went with the Mnandi. it's all about the wood grain. Find a pattern that speaks to you, but i should warn you other Mnandi's get your # and will call too. i bought another within a month.

as abcdef says they're great in non-knife settings. it can disappear. you can clip it in a shirt pocket and it looks like a pen, or in the leather sheath that comes with in your pocket.

the same people who'd take a step back if i pulled out a Seb 25 actually are drawn to a Mandi and want to touch it.

I've had about 20 large and small Sebbies, and have never had the inclination to buy a Mnandi. Even the small is too small for my hands, and I normally EDC an Umnumzaan or large Sebbie.

Ahh that nail nick is quite large. Good to know because it is very attractive.

OP enjoy the functional art when it arrives and keep us posted. Pics!

Thanks again for all the responses. I'll be sure to throw some pics up.

If I used my knife daily, prepped food, etc, I'd get a small sebbie.
If I used my knife occasionally but carried it more than I used it, opened packages, cut loose thread, I'd get the mnandi.

I've had both and I prefer the mnandi, but I don't use it as a hard use knife at all (I've got hinderers for that).

I wouldn't say the Small Seb is any tougher than the Mnandi. Plus, I think the Mnandi is the best value CRK. You get gorgeous scales and a much sexier clip. But it doesn't have a thumb stud if that bothers you. I prefer Large Sebenza > Mnandi > Small Seb.
