Hi all. Never posted in this forum but it is most appropriate to share these here. Been making these for years for my own use and for friends. They are quite handy and meant to attach easily to backpacks, golf club bags, your belt, etc.. The circular shape is more spacious than you would think. They are hand stitched. Anyways a few pics.

The circular shape means no corners for stuff to get stuck in. And the zipper that opens most-of-the-way-around means that stuff can't fall to the bottom and be lost or difficult to get out; no taking everything else out to get to one item at the bottom. Smart.

Good work on the seams and furnishings; looks like they will hold together longer than a lot of other carryalls. I would like to see all-steel zippers; they would seem to be the thing that would have problems down the line. If you want to get fancy, maybe a gusset on one side so that it gives a little when somebody tries to stuff one too many things in there.

Any plans to do custom jobs with different color choices or maybe patterns/designs on the outside? You'll get some business from the SCA and Ren Faire crowd, if you're able and interested in going that way.

thanks for the comments. The gusset is a good idea and your are right about the all steel zippers; I'll have to give that a try. Never wanted to do much for sale stuff, really just a hobby to keep idle hands busy.

Very cool -- stylish and funky -- just what I like! I carry small leather-bound journals to write in. These bags look perfect. Would you mind shooting me an email from my profile? Many thanks!
Regards,

Um ... I know a lot of those "re-enactor" people are not very interested in authenticity, but ... zippers?

Hmmm. Right. Good point. I don't use smilies, but this might be a good place for one...
