I like to keep my cell phone in my shirt pocket. For a while smaller was better but now they are turning into mini computers better suited for belt carry. I just need a phone.

What are some good really small light phones. I use Verizon because it seems to have the best service in Vt.

I had a Pantech C300 for a while. It's very small and tough. It even kept working after it went though the washer and dryer:eek:

I use a Samsung Wafer. It's a good size for shirt pocket carry. 3/8" thick except at the very top it bumps out to 1/2". 2" wide X 4 1/2" long. I've had this one about a year without any problems. Battery lasts a couple of days on a charge unless I'm in a bad signal area. If it goes into analog mode the battery is only good for a few hours. Has a bunch of bells and whistles like camera and music player that I seldom use.

look for the smaller and simpler Nokias. I have a 1110i. Its black and white screen and is a PHONE. No cameras, etc. Very easy to use and cheap. It flew out of my hands several times already, but still works perfectly. I got it unlocked for P1,400. Thats about US$28.

I use the Motorola Q from Verizon, it is about 1/4'' thick and fits in the shirt pocket like it was designed for it. Despite what customer service will tell you, you DO NOT have to sign up for data service to have it. I do not use it for that. And I do not have the service, (cost too much). But light and thin, you can not go wrong.
