I've been carrying my small cf seb this weekend and I love it. It typical crk quality, perfect.
However it is taking me some time to get use to it. It weighs nothing. It's lite to the point, it seems fragile.
I KNOW ITS NOT!!! I know it up to everyday normal task, but it is taking some time to get use to it. I keep putting my hand in my pocket to make sure it's there.

Awesome choice. That small is definitely special. I forgot how much I liked them until I picked up another one the other day.

I know, after carrying the 25 and Umnumzaan, the large 21 CF feels like nothing and it's so smooth. That's one of my favorite handle material besides micarta.
I'm glad to see you getting adjusted to it.

I have long been eyeing a large 21 insingo CF, but have always wondered if it would be too light or unbalanced with the CF scale.

It's not unbalanced. It's just not "hefty". I'm used to carrying knives a little heavier ie: a regular 21 large, or bm581, zt0566 and similar. The initial unboxing of it was a shock to me as far as it's weight(or lack there of.)
But it's a great little knife and will serve my intended purpose for it.
It will be carried as my secondary blade, and will be what I use if I'm in a crowd of sheeple.

I do the pocket check all the time. I EDC my small carbon fiber 21 and often think about it's weight myself. It is unbalanced but thats not necessarily a bad thing IMHO. Due to the cf scale being on the front, and the lock side remaining a solid slab of Ti, I find the knife kind pushes itself into your hand. It feels like it gravitates to your grip because of it being heavier on the lock side, and I love that!

Very nice knife btw, hope you enjoy it lots and use it well!

Just curious -- anyone pick up a CF Sebenza and *not* like it? I love my small Insingo with 'plain' ti scales, and am wondering if I'd love or hate the CF version. Lighter weight is appealing but I do wonder about the balance, and also if the 'more refined' CF would tend to be babied more. The first time you scratch the ti, you go 'ouch!' -- but then you don't worry about the scuffs and it gets better and better with age. I have a CF barreled pen and tiny scuffs started to make it look so ratty that I polished them out and I no longer pocket carry that pen...

I don't plan on babying the knife, but it will never see hard use either. If I had it to do over I still would have gotten the cf. Plain ti/ti gets boring after a while.
