I received my new 1725CB today and started the check it out real close stage (this comes after the flip it a bunch stage) and noticed after comparing to my year old 1725 that the grooves in the flipper are much improved. The new grooves provide a much better purchase. The grooves in the old are shallow in comparison to the new and and are fewer in number. I know a pict is probably better than words but need to quit buying so many knives and get a camara. Overall a very nice knife.
