Small Classic MM with Calfskin Inlay

Thinking about picking this up. Haven't seen much - if anything - written about the calfskin inlays. Anyone have experience with them? While I'm generally not a fan of the inlayed Sebenzas, I like the look of this one. Probably because it does not protrude over the plane of the handle.

Yes, while it’s a really nice looking Inlay it is not the most durable for carrying As the leather will shrink overtime in large gaps will form around the pocket. This can be slowed by using a leather treatment such as Skidmores, but inevitably over time it will dry out and shrink

I have another day or so to decide... only thing holding me back right now is two other pricey purchases this month already (CRK OPK Project II and Randall Model 1 - oh, and a Smatchet.) I'd pass on the source as far as allowed by the rules here, but they have excluded int'l shipping.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger! Comes with the original packaging, but the seller says the birth card somehow got lost. Oh well. I know CRK can issue a replacement, but I probably wont bother, at least not at this point.

Will try to post some more pics when it gets here (my current camera phone sucks though, and the better equipment is in temporary storage while I'm house hunting...).

Well, I took it out of the box to check for any faults (none) and how it feels in hand. Frankly, I'd never handled a Small Sebenza before - and I find it too small for my liking. The leather inlays feel nice though. Reminds me of the leather(ette) on my old SLR cameras and binoculars. The satin finish on the Ti is quite nice as well. Oh, and the original BC was in the box after all (yay!).

Back in the box it is for now.
