I am wanting a small caliber, small sized gun, preferably folding (for novelty). I have seen the magpul FMG9, but I dont think you can buy that. There is also a Keltec Sub 2000. What are your thoughts or recommendations on a small, fun gun or pistol that is out of the norm?

That gun looks pretty neat, what is the recess in the stock for?

There's a recess in the stock to hold a spare mag. The cut out is there so you can retrieve the spare.

You said small gun, so I am posting a small gun. It doesn't fold, but it's so small that it doesn't have to.

Diamondback DB9, micro compact 9mm. It holds 6+1, is 4 inches tall, 5.6 inches long, and only .8 inches wide, with a 3 inch barrel.

I may pick a couple of these up. What is the best place to buy them? Local gun store? (if they have it)

A Ruger 10/22 with a Butler Creek folding stock is IMO is the perfect carry a lot shoot a little rifle.

Keltek is guaranteed for life. It's a Florida concern & most popular at our gun shows.

Uncle Alan....

I have the Keltec Sub2K in 9mm. It's super compact (it fits in a laptop bag), fits popular magazines (mine's for a Glock) and is accurate beyond what I can shoot with my pistol, which is pretty much anything over 25 yards. The recoil is noticable even in 9mm because of the big heavy bolt slamming back and forth, so a shoulder pad is recommended for long range sessions (when I ran our Close Protection course with it I felt like I ran with a shotgun at the end of the day!). I used mine as back-up for Executive Protection details in a laptop bag or bright blue Jansport daypack (no one even looked twice). Great little gun!
