Just received a nice package from way up in Alaska from Josh BlindMouse2of3 BlindMouse2of3 , thanks again!, he sent several small rounds of Maratac Dacron 200lb test cordage with tracer, and a small amount of some glow in the dark that I haven't use yet.
The cordage is small of course, I figured that, but I had plans to try it on my Swiss Army Knives and removing the split rings that are normally on there, so now they don't get in the way of the tools on the knife and the lanyard isn't larger than the knife now.

It was tricky to get the cord through the small hole, had to remove the inner strands near the end so that part was thinner than the rest in order to get it through the hole, but it wasn't a quick task ;)

Interesting stuff, and strong too !

Shiny!

I like the idea of replacing the split ring (which can be annoying at times) with cord. I have a couple of rolls of braided paracord micro cord from Atwood Manufacturing Co. that I have been impressed with. It's 1.18 mm in diameter, USA made, and comes in lots of colors and patterns. Not nearly as fancy as your stuff, but a possible option that someone might want to try.
I used some on a key fob for my RTV key, tied it into a loop with a surgeons knot, and it's worked for months without coming loose. I've even used it as an ultra light and compact arborist throw line in combination with a small lead weight!
