Small Dent On Thumb Stud

wattup yall,

I noticed that there is a small dent on my umnumzaan thumb stud, just next to the blade (near the interface between the blade and the thumb stud)

Does anyone has the same issue?

I don't have this dent, but if the knife functions normally, I don't see an issue.

I don't have a Zaan but I have seen it in pics of them on other knives and people have commented on it. It's there on purpose.

It's a milled flat on the thumbstud..Probably reduces surface area just a bit for a light press fit into the blade. The original versions were 2 pieces that pressed into on another.

Makes sense...gotta be pressed somehow.

I would never even notice that, must be my eyes.....
