A bladeforums member contacted me almost a month ago wanting a fixed blade in a size that that had many of the hoofprints of a combat capable knife in a size that would not be inconvenient to carry all day. He wanted it as slim as possible so the hole pattern (holes countersunk with polished bevels) will give a secure grip if he chooses to remove the 550 wrap it will get after HT (going to HT today). This is not my usual style but I can see myself making more like it.

3/16" ATS34
7.25" overall with 2.75" sharpened
Current weight: 4.35 ozs

That's a great looking knife, mate. Really interesting. What kind of sheath are you going to make for it?

I like it, and yes, you should include it in your lineup.
Anyone got dibs on it? I wouldn't mind having that one......

Oh, I guess it is someones after all (note to self:read post thoroughly)
Guess I'll just have to ask you to build one for me.

Reminds me a bit of some of the pieces I've seen come out of Pat Crawford's shop, Charlie...and I mean that as a compliment. Nice work!

Thanks guys! Don't yet know what configuration he wants but it will be kydex covered in leather.

That is really nice CM, and I love that stubby clip point.:thumbup: Kydex with a leather covering is going to look awesome!

Mighty Purdy. Convex edge rules!

If you wanted to sell an even more custom peice why not drill the holes in the grip into some animal shape or new owners name or initials? It's quit nice as is, don't get me wrong, but a little customization like that might seriously increase your asking price.

Legit. If I could slap handles on it I might be interested in one as well.

Don't let your knives start looking too good, CM. I think we like to see the Fresno Flavor in each one, where it looks like the knife almost lost a fight with a grinder. So as long as you keep some nasty in each blade, we're good.

Trust me; the nasty is in every blade C.M. makes!
