Jim Grecni, a local goldsmith and jeweler, cast the finial for this small feather pattern dagger. He is located in Washington co. Ohio.

Now I know you don't see many yellow and black sheath themes these days but I wanted the sheath to mimic the double dyed box elder and silicon bronze handle. The circular inlay on the strapping holds the knife snugly in the sheath.

The blade is 3 1/4 inches overall it measures nine inches from tip to tip.

The hardware is wrought iron and silicon bronze with jade G-10 spacers.
My compliments to the gentleman who ordered this knife he has been very patient while the knife was being made.
Thank you Tim.

It came out superb Fred. Nice steel, handle, guard, pommel and the sheath is expertly done also. I'll bet Tim is a happy man.

Fred, you old geezer, you just keep up'n the bar. I really like that package, especially the handle and matching sheath.

Good on ya my friend.

Hope to see you again soon.

Nice work Fred. Interesting sheath work. I couldn't picture it when you were describing it the other day. Looks like it fits the knife like a glove. -Burton

I really like the pattern in that blade. Looks like it's spitting fire

I thought since the knife is subtle yet outrageous, the sheath had to match.

This pattern usually makes for an interesting blade. The work involved in even a blade this small is considerable.

Thanks Bruce; it was a fun knife to make, but it was aggravating at times as well. I am sure you know the feeling.
