hi

i just purchase last saturday a small fixed blade, which quite impressed me by the quality of the finish and so i was willing to share my impression with you:D
Brand name is Moki, which is a company in SEKI, japan.
i suspect that model to be an old model, as i don't managed to find it over the internet (if anybody has this modele and know his name, the info is welcolm !)
I baught it NIB (but without any box:D) for 150 euro (nearly 200 usd) on the second market..
It's VG-10, a steel that i particulary like, and black Micarta for the handle.
the shealth also is really nice, with the knife going quite deeply in it.

I just use it for today lunch time, and i could insure you that it was a real pleasure in hand!
If ever you have the opportunity to buy this little one, don't hesitate, in my opinion it deserve every penny it cost!

Hi Freddy

Nice knife, nice photo too. I think it is actually current production: http://www.moki.co.jp/ - go to "Information" at the bottom of the page and then to page 5.

Best regards
Jan

yes jan, thanks a lot!
now i know the name of that model (MK-1110)!:D

and managed to find some info also (evenif most of it is writen in Japonese:yawn:)
weight is 78 g
size total is 177 mm (blade is 73 mm and handle 104 mm)

they are not really expensive on their website, i wonder if they deliver in France...;)

Nice looking knife and really quality looking sheath (all too often good knives are let down by poor sheathes in my view)

I have one of their lockbacks in red bone and it is an excellent carry, just wish you could get more models as MOKI has an exceptional range in Japan.

I think MOKI are great value. I bagged two folders, one with a pretty handle and one with nylon and rubber inserts. I made a present of the pretty one and retained the worker. Same blade though. They were silly cheap in the UK when I got them.
