I've been looking at neck knives and was wondering if there was anything like that for a pocket on a pair of jeans. Thanks for any answers.

I know there are leather workers who make pocket sheaths for small fixed blade knives like the ESEE Izula and Becker BK14 and the like.

Tons of pocket-able fixed blades and sheaths out there. Do you have a price range? Steel preference? Brand? etc?

I like bird and trout knives generally for pocket carry as they tend to be thin. For pocket carry you're looking at a decent pocket sheath as much as the knife. the clip sheaths from collector knives are pretty good though I think he's low on stock, not sure if he plans to have more made. I've had a couple make by leather workers at a very fair price.

If you don't need it at the ready then dropping the sheath into the pocket with a little cord around the belt and then sheath allows an easy pull from the pocket, kind of like a lanyard that's always in the same place. I do this a lot with my mora classic as it's a backup usually or for when I'm sitting around carving and then leave the other tools on the belt (usually a machete or hand axe/hawk and larger camp knife).

Here's one I had made for a reasonable price.

g-clips or similar work well on most plastic sheaths if they fit the holes. Or get one that only requires a single hole to screw into. I don't have pics of any of those setups ready but they're reasonably common to find. I think some come with tek-loks but I like a standard spring clip myself.

Here are a few to consider:

I would like it to be under 60 dollars. Steel and brand don't really matter to me but I would like something made in the USA.

I used to carry an Izula with a Sharpshooter Sheaths Prudhoe Bay pocket sheath, had maybe $75 in it total. Over your budget but it did make an excellent pocket fixed blade.
Right now a major online retailer has the Sharpshooter Glacier Bay for $16 and it would fit any number of small fixed blade knives. Made in USA too.
