Does anyone remember the small fixed blade, tanto style, A2 blade that was introduced a couple of years ago? Does anyone have a photo you can share?

Thanks,

Barry H

Is this the blade your looking for?

That would be it! Thanks! Do these things ever surface for sale?
How many were made?

Thanks again,

Barry H:)

As it shows in the picture above, this is from a limited edition of 150 knives made for sale at NICA member retail stores. If you click on the link, it is for sale at Plaza Cutlery. If you like tantos, this is an especially nice piece for a decent price, considering the limited edition status. NICA advertised this knife for $200, so Plaza's price is somewhat of a discount. Since so few were made, I have rarely seen one for sale on the secondary market. The only thing I don't like about this piece is the rather ostentatious "LIMITED EDITION 150" in large letters engraved into the handle flat. (The flat, by the way, serves as an excellent "night index" to know by feel which end is up.)
CRK has periodically in the past made another four-inch tanto in the one piece line, but it was not sold as a limited edition and the tanto blade grind was considerably different than this NICA piece.
