Aloha ALL,

Just wondering how many of you BokerFolks would be into a small folder...like, with a blade of under 2" or so? A clip carry tip up/tip down, or simply remove the clip altogether.

Who's in for such a model from the Tree Brand?

God bless

I don't know, I think I could be interested, maybe even in
carrying a few of them!
I saw a really good one from some guy, been carrying it awhile....
I think it'll be a good idea.
TJT :D

Aloha TJT!

That's good to know. How are you carrying this one? Tip up or down? Is it a 420J2 Magnum?

God bless

I have been carrying it tip down, it really seeems to work that way.
And yes, it is the 420J2 Magnum.
Man, doesn't that sound like a high power round from Dirty Harry's pistol?

Aloha terry!

LOL! Yeah, it does sound like the "latest" outta Guns and Weapons for law Enforcement magazine! :D

I assume the mode of carry is due to the short clip? I had been carrying mine tip down also with a fob on it for retention. Works great, but I am a tip upper by heart...so back into that mode I have gone! Thankfully, the clip will be longer in the next run...

Anyway, any timeline on when "it" will hit the streets?

God bless and mahalo

I've seen it and I love it. And yes, I'd go for a Tree Brand version in a heartbeat (G-10 or CF, Ti and Ceramics please) ;)

Actually, small is good.

Personally, I think the problem lies in that most small folders have no heft, or "belly" to the baldes. Its the thin profile of most small knives that are unappealing. A good example of a nice small knife would be the Al Mar stubby. Its short, but it has enough "heft" to be a real user:

Mahalo my friend, and like I said: Soon, the Adventura begins!

God bless

Aloha rev_jch,

Be advised that my design will be coming out soon from Boker/Magnum. It is thin, but if you want "belly"...this blade has it! ;)

BTW, Al Mar's knives are simply cool!!!

God bless

The AlMar is nice, but Daywalker's is better. It has belly, it has tip, it has a great grip and the choil prevents your finger from slipping forward on the blade. Not to mention that closed it has the shape of a biscuit (mmm, I love biscuits) :) Makes for a very low profile money clip or keychain.

Alohahahahaha Alex,

Mahalo my KnifeBro for your kind words. I am blessed in that you saw the "biscuit" made from scratch! :D Thank you my brother...we'll be in touch!

God bless:thumbup:

PS: I dunno about it being better than an Al Mar. Quality, no...design-wise...well, we'll see!
