More and more I am liking smaller knives. Easy to carry and people don't get upset when you pull it out. And in most cases I don't need a larger knife for General EDC. inside or out and about. Also no legal issues.

Here is my Kizer Contrail and Spyderco Dragon Fly 2.

Most of my knives have blades around 3" give or take. Large enough to have good ergonomics, but small enough to fit easily in my pocket. I most often carry a benchmade mini-bugout with a 2.8" blade. Light and easy with its axis lock.

It depends...
I carry a Buck 501 almost daily - if I don't have that, it's probably a slipjoint in my lfp. Small knife covered.
In my rfp, is a modern folder. I still prefer 3.5-4" blades there; but my usual "work knife" is 3.25", carried IWB. I've got 2 that are right at 3", and I rarely carry them.
Fixed blades from around 2.5-5.5", and I don't carry the ones at either end of that range very often.

The Bugout and Native LW are so small and light I don’t ever see a reason to carry smaller. It’s like their not even there.

I also carry 3" blade daily. With a basic blade shape. Most people don't give a second look to a knife that looks like a tool.
Although some styles are great; if the knife is too tactical it can give the appearance of a weapon.
This is especially true at work.

The Civivi Elementum and Kizer Gemini are in the sweet spot for me. I don't like going much smaller unless I really have to. The premium Dividend works well as a shirt-pocket knife.

A SAK Tinker does it for me (for 30+ years).
BTW, the cat doesn't look real comfortable having that knife open near him.

I wear a suit to work most days, and tend to carry smaller blades.
The Micro Evo Typhoon, Lil Native, Pena Front Flipper Zulu, Mini Archbishop and ProTech Sprint are the ones I carry most often.
