Small guage paracord for nanostriker?

I get all my paracord from them. The "Small gauge" paracord they mentioned is probably Type I Paracord or utility cord on SupplyCaptain's site. They're only rated at 100lbs of load, unlike the 550lbs of Type III paracords. On the other hand, they're much smaller in diameter.
If you'er making a neck lanyard of it, I doubt you'd be putting 100lbs of load on it.... at least I hope not!

It seems they sell 3/16th & 1/8th - any idea which one will fit? I'd prefer to go as thick as I can, but not sure if it will fit the nanostriker?
I also have the nano match tube as well - will this take regular paracord, or do I need the shock cord for this one too?
What is shock cord compared to paracord btw?
