Small hand ax

This ax was commissioned after the customer saw the one I had made for myself. I'd say it rides the border of being a tomahawk, which is appropriate.

4140, vinegar etch, hickory handle.

Razak - I didn't get dimensions before handing it over to the customer, but you can get a pretty decent idea of the size seeing it in his hand. I'd estimate the head is approx. 16 ounces.

Omniviking. :D The guy who bought it is a character. I realized after I posted these that his hair looks a bit odd because you can't tell that he has it pulled back into a pony tail that reaches most of the way down his back. I think I've asked him which tribe he belongs to several months back, but I can't remember which one he said.
