Howdy!

So, lately I'm loving my smaller knives. I have a DPx HEAT and a spyderco Techno and a Boker Polus Subcom (that one is a little flimsy for my taste). I work in a corporate setting and these knives freak people out a little less, lol. The ZT0300 or the Spyderco Szabo. aren't the best choices for opening mail at my desk!

The HEAT and the Techno are still satisfying to me with their heft and solid builds. I wish ZT made a small blade...

Anyway, are there other knives in this class (or better) that I should take a look at? Thanks guys.

Benchmade 755 MPR is a small beast of a knife.

Emerson Mini A-100 or Mini CQC-7A (non-waved) are both sub 3" bladed folders that are plenty strong but don't attract undue attention.

I personally think a Kershaw Mini Cyclone might be a good choice, if you don't mind hunting one down. Low profile, sort of unique compared to the current Kershaw lineup, and nothing huge that will draw undue attention.

I need to get me one of them there Spyderco Sbenza's. Where'd you get yours ?

For office EDC, I carry a Kershaw OD-2 (2.25"). The new Kershaw Amplitude (2.5") has got me thinking about an upgrade. Both are sweet fast flippers.

But, for heavier duty, consider the Spyderco Dragonfly 2 or Delica.

It doesn't get much love but I really like this.

I love small heavy duty knives and think DPX knocked it out of the park with the HEAT. I had an MPR along time ago and it was not bad but a little clunkier than the MPR.

The top knife in the pic above is a Three Sisters Forge Beast. I have 1 in m390. It's a great knife, 7.25 over all length with a 3.0 blade. The blade is .157 thick. I highly

recommend it. It's a custom with a reasonable price....about $100 less than a small sebenza.

The first pic is a spearpoint S35VN w/ rounded edges. Makes a very good edc. The second one is M390 w/ a custom grind & cerakote finish. As far as I know it's the last one in M390 Jim is going to do.
