Took the family and a friend for a hike today. Brought my original TG and let my buddy use my NMFSH. I thought the Busse gang would like some pics. I hope you are all enjoying the nice weather if you are getting it in your area.
Here is California highway 84 in Woodside CA.

The view from the road.

My daughter chopping away with ESEE.

A salamander checking out the TG.

The kids. The redheads on the right are mine.

Some strange contraption we found. I have no idea what it's for.

Big ole banana slug trying to steal my blade.

My girl decided she was brave enough to pick one up.

Sudden Oak death. Unfortunately we have a lot of that around here.

The End

Cool pics! Looks like a lovely area. The kids look like they're enjoying themselves too. Good to have them outside enjoying the world :)

great pics, thanks for sharing. Your daughter is brave, I wouldn't touch that creature if you paid me!!

Nice! I went on a 7 mile fast paced hike on the Appalachian Trail yesterday. I brought along my Basic 10 and there was a downed limb blocking the trail, Needless to say i hacked right through it in the pouring down rain. The Res C handle worked awesome in the rain!

It looks like your kids enjoy going on outings, thanks for sharing this family trek with us. Great pictures!

Looks like a hellava fun time! You've reminded me that my TGLB needs more scratches.
