This was my first knife made in Z-Max. HT by Peters' to RC68.

Overall length is 7.5" with a 3 inch blade.

Handle is OD Green Linen Micarta with orange G10 accents and natural linen micarta liners. Attached with a large copper corby bolt and an orange G10 lanyard tube, all on a tapered tang.

Blade is finished to 800 grit satin and has a rounded spine.

Is RC68 a misprint? If not, what kind of toughness does this have - comparable to what more common steel? Thanks!

nope, not a misprint. Z-Max is NOT a tough steel. it is comparable to MAXAMET, so it focuses on edge holding over toughness. I wouldn't make a chopper out of it, but for a small fixed blade (skinner, hunter, EDC) should be just fine!

Yep. It is a full 4 finger handle.

Damn 68HRC. And looks thin BTE.
Excellent work. Especially getting an 800 grit finish on it. No easy task with wear resistance like that.

Well done. Beautiful blade.

It will be at a later date when I return to the US in 2022. I am currently FDNF out of Sasebo, Japan.
