hi guys recently finish this knife, and i must tell this is my first 1095,usualy i'm forging 52100 and i found that 1095 alot easyer to forge hammerin and heat treating! but this is not my only first in this knife! imake frame handle, not fancy things, i keep it simple begouse the knife are small and i don't want to overload it, i use brass for the guard and the frame, i now..... maybe the brass is a bit overpassed but its one of the material wich i like! but enough with wards lets see some fotos.
well here is some specs.
blade1095 steel with hamon9,5cm.=3,7inches full flat grind.
frame handle, guard and pins from brass and eucalyptus wood 20cm=7,9in overall.
