Small Inkosi Lockup Question

Okay so I know I’m very likely just being a bit (very) OCD about this but, just got a new Inkosi small and the lockup looks a bit late compared to what I’m used to from other folders. Looked online at a few other Inkosi’s and some seemed to engage much earlier. Wondering if you’d say this is normal or indeed a bit late? Also, the blade detent seems to be very strong, such that it usually takes me a second of pushing to get it open. Is this something that gets easier with time or that I can make better by adding a bit of lube somewhere? Thanks!

Looks normal, this is a 25, this has been the lock up since day one. I've read that a little drop of oil/grease along the detent ball path will help.

They both look correct to me. Per Tim Reeve on his "how to clean" videos on YouTube, the best reference for a good factory-like lock up is when the chamfer of the lock bar lines up with the inside edge of the frame. All of the photos here look to be exactly that. It's also the way all of my CRKs lock up.
