The pocket clip is usually somewhat of an interference fit into the pocket on CRK's.
You can remove the screw and use a loop of paracord or something similar under the clip to pull it off. Make sure you get the loop as close to the screw as possible.
That is how I typically remove them.
If you ask why this is needed, perhaps to keep the clip from rotating even a little to loosen the clip screw and possibly losing your knife.
How would this result in you losing your knife?
Hackenslash, my large Inkosi did not come with a filler tab.
Your clip falling off? I don't know? Some people carry them in whatever pocket they can fit them in. Clip them onto all sorts of weird crap. Visors, etc
Mainly a theory as I have never asked the people at CRK why they need or want an interference fit.
the clip fillers are an accessory that is purchased separately. Have never seen a new knife come with one.
just got a new inkosi - the pocket clip is as tight as ----- (fill in blanks)
Not sure if I even want the pocket clip ? Do they have a filler for this ?
Anyone take clip off ?
Sorry I must be misunderstanding your post.
It reads to me like you are talking about a method for removing the clip, not about walking around with a clip that is about to fall off.
I've reread it a few times but don't know what you mean?
I think the OP is talking about completely removing the clip and filling the space with a fill tab, then carrying the knife clipless.
Are you talking about building a riser for the clip out of paracord?
Use the paracord to remove the clip.. It's a tight fit
It's a tight fit probably to keep it from inadvertently moving and loosening the screw holding he clip down into the pocket.
Ohhhh, ok. So you suggest paracord rather than using just your fingers?
I have never removed a clip from my CRKs, is it really that tightly fit in there?

Several I have had were pretty tight. Tight enuff that you would feel like it would bend the clip to remove it.
