I'm not sure how to completely describe how tight it is. The action is definitely not as smooth as with the other scales but the knife rests centered and locks up well, it's just harder to open. Also, the pivot doesn't seem to tighten down all the way onto the black scale.
 
I'm getting a large insingo in the next few days, depending on how I feel about whether it is too big I might be interested in your small (if it's still around).
