So I got the email update from Knifeart that the large Insingo in now back in stock and available for order. Glad to see that the price is now the same as a standard large Sebenza, it appears only the first run was at a higher cost.

Was just about to place an order for one when I paused because I prefer the small Sebenza to the large, and I think the small would benefit more from the Insingo blade style then the large would.

Then I noticed this in the description on Knifeart's website:

"We will have the Insingo model in both Large and Small sizes."

Now I guess I will just wait on the small Insingo, unless the small Crosshairs tempts me first. Or if I can get my dream small seb, a Crosshairs with the Insingo blade.

I just got the Insingo notification, but didn't notice the small until you mentionned it. I'll be getting one of those for sure:thumbup:

I did not notice that little note, but I really hope it is true and happens soon. I would love a small Insingo.

I am exited about the fact these are becoming more available! No matter what the size!

After the small, I'm hoping for a large with Micarta Inlay. Dream EDC!

Certainly worth at least a dream! Will be on the lookout for one of those too :)

come to think of it a small insingo with micarta inlays would be my dream edc...
is anybody in the know if they will be manufacturing small or large insingos with inlays?
do enlighten us...

I would sell a kidney if I had to for one of those, but a plain small Insingo will do just fine. Any idea of when we might see them, i.e. next month or next year?

Oh my wurd! Jason is hanging with the big CRK doggs!!!

My tastes seem to change with the rise and fall of my bank balance. Funny how that works. After picking up my new Mnandi and hopefully a small Insingo very soon, I'll be back to slummin' it in the Spyderco and Maintenance sub-forums in no time.;)

I was thinking the same thing. I have a knifemaker making a M4 blade the same shape as the Insingo but with a opening hole rather than thumblug for my small micarta 21. I'll post pics when I get it.

I'd be very interested to see that. The hole on such a small blade would be intriguing. I'm specifically interested in whether it can it be made large enough to be functional yet aesthetically pleasing... but both of those things are quite subjective.
