Hello all....

I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Chris Nilluka. I am a custom knife maker. I've been at this for just about two years. If you happen to visit the "other forum" you probably know me. I've been trying to join this forum for quite some time. Not until today did I know that I was trying to use an "un-useable" email address. So now everything is fixed and here I am. I look forward to my time here.

Welcome to BladeForums Chris.Beatiful work.Fixed blades,folders and 'hawks.You do it all and very nice.Hamons,too!My favorites.Like your choice of materials too.You should enjoy yourself here,there's always lots of input.And lots of good people. :) :thumbup:What steel do you like to use?
 
Right now I'm stuck on 1095. I love the stuff and I'm getting great results with it. I've also used 5160, 1084, ATS34, and 440C. However, the majority of the time I use carbon steels just because I can do all the hardening and tempering myself.

And before I forget, thanks for the compliment.

Tried to Email ya' Chris but Email was returned undeliverable.Also wanted to let ya' know that 1095 is my favorite also.Until someone finds something that will take a sharper edge and has as fine a hamon.We may be waiting a while on that though. :)

Nice photos and knives. I really like that hawk. And the Folder. Well hell....I guess I like them all.
