Small Items for Emergency / First Aid Tin?

Well, I've recently moved my Fox40 micro whistle out of my emergency tin and onto a carabiner kit, and I need something to fill in its old spot.

So, any ideas for a whistle-sized item that I could jam into a small "survival" / basic first aid type tin?

Inside the tin I currently have:

(First Aid)
-Various Bandages
-Surgical Sponges
-Disinfectant Wipes
-Duct Tape
-Super Glue
-Painkillers
-Forceps
(Misc)
-Aluminum Foil
-Water Purification Tabs
-Extra Firesteel
-Signalling Mirror

And I've still got a bit of room left over in there! I'd like to fill it in so things don't rattle at all, heh.

So far all I can come up with is a couple chunks of candy... cause when you've just glued an axe wound shut and covered it in duct tape, a Werther's Original surely sounds nice.

Anyone have a better idea??

foolproof tinder/matches/mini lighter (or do you keep a separate fire kit?)

Benadryl or No-doz. If you have no known allergies, the benadryl might not be too helpful, but 2 tabs takes up very little room should the need arise. As for the no-doz, not only do you sometimes really need the extra energy, but it accelerates the effects of the painkillers

button compass - not terribly accurate, but "good enough" in an emergency.

I might drop the disinfectant wipes in favor of more water purification tabs. They can be crushed with a small amount of water to make a disinfectant solution unless you tend to use this sort of stuff on a frequent basis, in which case the wipes would be more convenient.

I keep a couple different fire starting methods on my person (and a dedicated firekit), along with a decent little compass on the same carabiner I moved my whistle to. So those two are pretty well covered. I don't have any allergies, but the NoDoz idea looks like a pretty good one.

I didn't know that about the disinfectant solution thing, that's great! I'm going to look in to this for sure. But I will keep the wipes for now, as I already carry more water tabs than I need to ;)

Great suggestions!

How about a fishing kit or some waxed thread. I dunno, I have some many tins chocked full of stuff, I can't keep my own stuff straight sometimes. That's bad, but all of them would cover my butt in a jam.

A photon light?
Hand Sanitizer?
Turniquette?

Many good choices, let us know what you pick, I may need to change mine.

Try some innertube "ranger" bands.
Cut 'em into bands or strips, they fill the viods & don't rattle.
Good for securing things & burning.
I got some discarded innertubes at the local bike shop for the asking.
A spool of dental floss would be handy too, just bust the spool out of the container it comes in.

Tinder for the firesteel. PJCBs tinderquicks or similar.

And shitcan the superglue and replace it with an antibiotic (topical). You'll live longer.
