Small knife for ID ...please.

Good day Gentlemen,
I assume this is no weapon, nor a toy either; rather 'rafinée' for a toy.
The handle in mother of pearl, the blade and grip spine finely engraved ... and even a double mark on the blade.
Let me not doubt this little knife has a practical purpose.
Your help would be much appreciated.

I'm thinking it was part of a trousse set or similar. Trousse are hunting/outdoor type eating sets, usually they are a big knife, 1 or 2 littler knives, plus a fork or chopsticks depending on the area. The eating knives are a little bit lighter than hunting knives, but still working knives. Sometimes they were sold by themselves.
