Here are the company's limitations:
Blade Length - not to exceed 2.5 inches.
Blade Width - not to exceed one-half inch.
Preferences:
Locking folder
Single blade
Pocket Clip

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mr. Wilson

I just went on Blade HQ website. If you put your parameters in you will find hundreds of knives in that size range. The closest range you can use is 2-3" and sift through that. I don't know your price range but if you input it
It will limit the choice. When you find a knife that you like go to youtube and look for reviews on that particular knife. When you come up with a few that you like come back and get BF members opinions on the ones you picked.

No clip but fits the rest. A. G Russell 3" lockback. (3" refers to the closed length.)

The 1/2" blade width really throws a wrench in the spokes for most modern folders with clips. I'd probably go with the baby Jes Horn from Spyderco. It lists at 2.6", but most Spydercos are shorter if you measure the sharpened edge.

Yeah the Techno is an amazing knife. I strongly recommend that kiwi4 or even a dragonfly.

When you say blade width are you talking the blade thickness or the distance between the edge and the spine?

You can put a suspension clip on the Buck 283 which is a good little American made knife for the money.

Almost everything suggested here has a blade width well >0.5"

I can't think of any off hand with a clip that fit all the parameters, even the rike hummingbirds, only 1.5" blade length have a blade width listed at >0.6"...

Sounds like the company definitely does not want anyone with a knife.

I was going to suggest a Stanley (or other brand) folding box cutter, since they meet your requirements of a single blade, the blade length, a locking blade, and a pocket clip. :)
Alas, the blades are more than 1/2 inches tall. :(

If you could live with a slip joint, you might want to consider a Peanut or a small Texas Jack, or an Old Timer 15OT. (The Old Timer is a single blade, but no blade lock. They have another the same size with a liner lock, but I do not remember the model number. 17OT?)

Maybe the olamic busker. It’s an amazing semi custom front flipper, or if your looking for a cheaper option you could go with the CRKT pilar
