Standard stuff -- I'm thinking about selling this one after all these years since I haven't used or carried it for a long time. But I also don't wanna be sorry I sold it. :)

I've looked around a fair amount, but haven't really been able to narrow down a good price, particularly with this being a regular from so long ago. I don't wanna gouge anybody, but don't wanna give the knife away, either, and would prefer it go to somebody who will appreciate it.

I bought it new in April 2004. It's been carried and used lightly - envelopes, cords, etc - but not in a long time. Mostly it's been stashed away and taken out, disassembled, and lubed whenever I think about it every few years, then put back away in the leather slip sheath. The scales have the normal rubbing on them and there are some light scratches on the blade, although that doesn't really show in the photos. I have the original box, birth card, and Allen wrench. And a beat up leather slip sheath if somebody wants that, too. :)

Again, not sure I'm gonna sell it, largely because reading a number of threads in this forum has given me an appreciation for this knife and vintage all over again. But I'd like to know your opinion of the value if I decide to. Thanks.

I’ve got one, the thing I think about is back then, lefty’s were rarely made And hard to come by.
If I were in the market to sell mine, I’d ask $600/650 for it. If I wanted to dump it fast, $ 450.00, but I’m not there today.

Beautiful knife! Fellow lefty here. I have a left hand Mnandi with box elder burl inlays that I'd be interested in a trade + cash (your way) if you are interested.

Thanks

Thanks, Anthony - appreciate it. I think I might be wavering in that range. :) And I'd probably forgotten how much tougher it was to get lefty ones.

Just to update things, I sent this one back to Boise for the standard tune-up last week. I'll decide when it comes back, but with prices and demand being what they are now, I may well sell it if "the price is right".
