I have a couple of Sears/Craftsman small lockbacks. The smaller is a three inch model number 95414 (with box) and the other is a 3 1/2 inch model number 95114. The 95224 is marked 60th Anniversary. Not sure if either belong in this thread, not even sure if they are Camillus made.

Question for Phil, and other experts:
Shown above Gambler "Ten of hearts" have tang is marked by etching - this is a real Camillus worked or remarked?

During the last years that Camillus was open, it was common practice to etch the brand on the tangs. This was frequently done on blades that had another customer's brand ground off. For example-After Schrade closed in 2004 any blades remaining at the Camillus factory had the "SCHRADE" tang stamp removed and the "CamilluS" name etched in its place. Nothing was thrown away at Camillus.

Very nice almost 40 year old knife. Do you have many Westerns knives to go with your cards?

You have an early Silver Sword knife. This model was introduced as the model #42 then when more knives were added to the Silver Sword line the number was changed to #864. The model #42 was packaged in a silver box with a black molded platform. Each knife came with a small black cloth pouch bearing the Silver Sword crossed swords logo. During the 1980's the model #42/864 was advertised in PLAYBOY Magazine.

Probably I expressed it incorrectly. Maybe should write "I have left to buy" (sorry for my english ).
Now I have two Gambler knives. Both came with a deck of cards, but without the box.

Yes both of the knives the number 95114 and the 95224 where made at Camillus. I worked at Camillus for 38 years.

Thomas, thank you for the information on my knives. I have heard that if the knife has 5 numbers it is Camillus made.
