Small locking folding knife.

I carry my Paramilitary 2 everyday with a smaller knife. For the past four weeks I have carried a Spyderco Dragonfly2 VG-10 FRN and have loved it. There is nothing this knife can't do and if there is, my para2 can tackle the job. They seem to work together amazingly. I was just wondering if there are better small folders that are around the same size. I want to expand my collection of small folders. I also want them to be locking, otherwise I know case knives would be an awesome choice. Any input on small awesome knives (smaller than the sage 1)?

Thanks,
George

The Buck Nobleman and Spyderco Delica are nice small folding knives. My favourite small folding knife is the Fällkniven TK4. Here's a picture of them for size comparison.

Edit: the Buck Nobleman is missing here actually. On top is a CRKT Drifter and on the bottom is an Opinel #7.

Price point? That's going to be your main limiting factor. There are a lot of knives available that are smaller than a Sage 1. If price is no object, then WH and CRK both have very nice, small locking folders. If money matters here, I believe that Fallkniven has a smaller locking folder than the TK4 (I could be wrong about the lock part). Spyderco has the Chaparral, A G Russell has some small lockback folders in VG10 and different scale materials, I believe (but not sure) that Strider's PT is smaller than a Sage 1. If you like traditionals, Case and Queen have smaller locking folders that are very classy and useful in just about any setting.

The Buck 55 makes a nice small carry knife. It's a neat little knife -- 3 3/8" long closed with a 2 3/8" long blade. Sort of a junior version of the Buck 110 and Buck 112 knives.

I've been really impressed with the Sanrenmu 763, too. Its ergos are surprisingly good for such a small knife, the high hollow grind slices well, and it has that neat bottle opener feature. The Böker Plus Ti Subcom is also pretty neat. Not as comfortable and functional as the 763 to me, but it does work very well, and a titanium framelock for around $30 is virtually unheard of.
