A friend just purchased one and is sending it back, one problem. He let me look at the knife and now I want it. It is without a doubt the finest folder I have ever held. Only problem is I dont feel like dishing out the 500 big ones. Any suggestions? Should I go for it?

If you really like it then go for it.

What's a madrone inlay? Is there a pic of this online?

It's only a mistake if you fail to learn from it!

Madrone is the type of wood used in the knife. Chris uses several types and this one is a dark burnt orange color.

I bought it!!! I bought it!!! Oh yeah, baby she is sweet!! I only have to decide wether to carry this puppy around or not. What do you guys think? For now it's snuggled up in its leather sheath in my dresser all wiped down with tuff cloth. Later, Jeff
