This was another that turned out pretty good.
It had originally started out a fair bit larger, and i wasn't crazy about the shape.
The tip had warped a little, So I tried straightening, snap...
Well I reground reheat treated it, and it warped once more, well let's just say once again it got a bit shorter.

All in all, I like the way it is now, more than I did before. Also had learned from Don Hanson in another posting a while back
that trying to straighten it is a bit of a bad idea, so I'm going to try to leave tips a bit thicker and grind thinner after heat treat.

It was clay coated, so it has a bit of hamon, which doesn't seem to be showing in the pictures. I'll try to get another photo showing it.

Tried to give the handle a bit more curves which is a pain in the rear with my limited tooling.
I've got an idea to try though. Still happy with how the handle turned out.

More can be seen here of it.

That is exactly what I look for in an EDC. A blade that is one half inch longer than my index finger, gentle downward curve to the handle, OAL that makes it easy to carry and I prefer a droppoint. This is the kind of knife that really fascinates me. Very practical, it will do most everything except slice watermelon. I think that if you where to make more of these knives they would sell very well. I would like to buy one, Stephen

I did. I have a number of knives on order that will be due in several months. After I recieve these I hope to order a hunter/utility. I like the look of the kitchen knives as well. Stephen

Thanks for the compliments Stephen =]
I tend to like a little drop as well. Just does something for my visually.
Seems most of the blades I do are a little longer, but for an EDC I can see where the shorter blade makes it easier to carry.

I'd be happy to make something for you, or that one above is currently still available.
