Good work, what kind of rubber did you use?

It's nice to see when someone doesn't think knives have to be 1/4 of an inch or more!

It sure has a basic shape of a Parang Lading Pendek (i.e. Malay Peninsular) or a Parang Candung (i.e. State of Sarawak)
Have you test it and how it performs for field works?
Congrats :)

Thanks rachet197,
Yes, I never really undestood that "obsession" with thick blades for everything.
That rubber comes from a BMX air chamber

air chamber, as in bicycle inner tube? I use that stuff for everything!
That's a neat blade, makes me want to chop vegetables and boneless spare ribs. violently.

Thanks mohd!

I tried it in the wokshop just before the final sharpening. Chops well and has a great balance

That's right!

I also use it for a lot of things. It is a must in any kit.

Watch your fingers...;)

That is pretty cool  I just looked at your website and you have an amazing variety of cutting tools! I especially like the small bushcraft knife, nice work.
