This is another one of my little patch/utility knives. This was a commissioned piece. Nothing spectacular but it's a cool little knife and I mostly wanted to show the ironwood. :) I've sold quite a few of these now. Seem to be very popular.

Specs:
Ground from 1084
6 7/8" overall, 3" blade, .120" thick at the ricasso with full distal taper
Rounded spine for comfort
Filed thumb grip
Tapered tang, tapered down to .050"
Desert Ironwood scales
german silver pins
Filed fuller on the butt end of the handle

All comments, discussion, critique and opinions welcome.

Super looking knife and sheath, John.....really nice attention to detail, the tapered-tang and scale work is nice.

That is a tidy little knife, John. No wonder they sell well.

Very nice, very kis, i like it very much. Nice piece of beenatree :)
Cheers Keith

John,
Your Knife is a great example of " Less Is More ".
The Design and Quality is FANTASTIC.
The german silver pins have a nice appearance in the BEAUTIFUL HANDLE.
The Sheath compliments the knife very well.

John,
I am in agreement with the above, wise, well spoken gentlemen.
Dozier
S La where it's still hot and humid

Some nice details there on a "nothing spectacular" knife. Very handsome little piece.

Boy, if this is nothing spectacular, I cannot wait to see some of your spectacular work. This is nice.

Thank you guys. I appreciate the comments.

Got this in the mail today. Simple. Elegant. Beautiful. I absolutely love the small details that John put in this knife. I cannot find a flaw in it. I knew the knife would be thin but my goodness, it's wafer thin! I can't even tell it's in my pocket. Exactly what I wanted. John is a very talented knife maker who has an eye for detail. Thanks John!

looking good John it's simple but there is still a lot of cool stuff going on and the wood is smoking

Also incredible hamon from 1084!!! better than i can achieve with w2! ;)
I hope the new lucky owner will put it into use...that sleek blade wants to cut
