It's been a journey. My first Seb was a plain 21. I later sold it, eventually buying a small micarta insingo. I traded up to a lg micarta insingo and I've had it for some time. You might remember my nuked-Sebenza thread. Ended up that it's creation date was my birthday so it's kind of a knife I can't part with, and never wanted to.

And then today I got a small plain 21 in the mail. Good price, but knife-only. It's older, has the older hardware and no stamp (indifferent on that), and seems to have almost no use. And it's awesome. I've had 3.5+" knives for a while and no desire for something smaller. But getting this back in hand changed my mind.

I love the large, I love the insingo, and I LOVE micarta, but gosh, something amazing about the small plain. I wants it!

But it's for my wife! She likes the style and has asked for her first knife. It's jut not fair!

Might have to do some trading. ;)

Looks like I rambled. In the end, you guys were right. People will eventually have both sizes (and possibly many variations)!

Yep.....you can't stop at just one! I got my first 8 years ago and have since bought/sold/ traded around 50! I currently have 15 CRK knives in my collection.

I traded for my first Sebenza beginning of this year, it was a small 21, it hasn't left my pocket since. Every time I use it I find something else about it that makes me love it even more...

Looks nice. Is that just lighting or is that a torx head in the third pic? I love love love the old style barrel nuts having smooth heads. I really wish that CRK still offered those.

One of my 21s has fasteners that look like that - I think they were formed on a mandrel but for some reason small seams were left at the points of the hex.
