Do many of you carry`em? As much as I like the traditional form of a slip-joint, I`ve been carrying a bay score, a 3" jade green Case lockback for 20 bucks. Perfect size for small duty. Gonna try a Case mini Copperlock next.

What do you carry when you want a pocket sized Lock Back?

It's been awhile since I've carried these two. But from time to time I've been known to carry a Buck 55, which is a great great little pocketknife.

It's reminiscent, obviously, of the famous Buck 110 but I find the little 55 a lot more useful (as in, I have a lot more use day-in and day-out for a pocketknife than I do for a honkin' folding hunter on my belt).

Sometimes when I'm REALLY trying to travel light I'll carry a Spyderco Dragonfly:

I have this Rough Rider, right at 3", single layer, double lockback canoe

And this one a lonestar kit from knifekits.com I put together with tulipwood a few years ago... (bottom one) its about 3" IIRC(can't find it to take a new pic, so I can't measure it either)

A 3" Schrade USA 3OT will sometimes ride in the watchpocket of my jeans.

I carry a Case canoe on a daily basis. It's a good size for me and, in most pants, fits in the change pocket in the front.

When I carry a lock back its one of my Large Case Copper Locks. Its one of my favorite case patterns. Eventually I hope to pick one up in CV

I forgot to say, the mini coperlock is a great carry piece, my Mom EDCs one that I got her. (Jade bone) I use it every chance I get... handy clip point blade, good size; a little short for extended cutting but makes up for it by disapearing into the pocket till its needed.

Great pics guys, thank you. Choices, choices...

That Buck 55 looks like a great fit for the small rotation.

CASE Mini Copperlock is a fine and convenient pocket carry.

Others to consider: MOKI red/black jigged bone a bit costly but real Japanese cutlership.
The Old Timer 3 OT already mentioned,Fox n Hound 3" stag lockback from Italy, cheap but surprisingly good with ss liners,Weidmannsheil 3" Redstag lockback in Damascus and lets not forget the late lamented Camillus Yello Jaket a very fine small lockback sadly no longer with us.

I carry a Case Mini Copperlock in stag. Gotta love the stag . When I feel tacticool I carry a Protech Runt, but that isn't very traditional.

Sorry about the pic, the camera is old and the bottle of Scotch is almost empty.

I just picked up a hen & rooster lockback stag handle. As I start a family, I was looking for something I could some day pass down. So I wanted something nice. Now I fear I'll just buy more...and more...and...more
