I got this Sebenza in trade about a month back. This story is a little confusing, but here it goes...

I got it as a BG-42 small regular Sebenza that had just been back from a trip to CRK for handle refinishing and blade resharpening. The problem was, when I got it, the blade was off center.

Not being happy with it, I sent it to CRK to see what they could do. A week and a half later, I get a box with a note saying that the reason it was off center was that the BG-42 blade was bent?!?!

For no charge, they gave me a brand new S30V blade, thumbstud, bushing, and washers.

So what I have for sale is a Small Regular Sebenza with brand new refinished handles (not a ding or scuff or scratch)....and a brand new S30V blade.

Also included is the old BG-42 blade, washers and bushing, and all of the paperwork that attests to this amazing story of customer service. The wrench is in there as well.

Originally born on April 2, 1997...it was just reborn last week.

I'm putting this up there to see if anyone bites, but I'd be just as happy to keep it. The knife has perfect centering and the smoothest most consistent action I've felt on a Sebenza.

Remember, this includes a BG-42 blade that is in mint condition, the only problem is that it is slightly bent so that the blade is 1/16" off-center when closed. The new blade is perfectly centered and in mint condition (haven't cut a thing).

Because it includes the BG-42 blade that is still in more than usable condition, and the knife is in NIB condition, I'm asking $280 Shipped in the U.S. Insurance is extra.

The only trade offers I'm interested in are NIB/LNIB/Excellent condition custom PE folders.

Thanks for looking...if you want pics of the BG-42 blade or anything else, please let me know. I'm open to questions.
