Small Regular Unique Graphic Sebenza

Mine got here yesterday from swmp4l's sale (linked because I don't want to steal the pictures). It's gorgous! I really love the inlay and milled graphic. This one is especially nice because it's my first small sebenza.

Anyone find that the small is rather, well, small? I like it and think it will go well when I need a smaller knife but right now it looks like it's right on the "too small" edge. Maybe I just like larger knives (I blame the Military).

Either way, not my last CRK. :thumbup:
 
Congrats on the your first Sebenza! I actually prefer the "Regular" Sebenza myself. I have 2 other unique graphic Sebenzas and I really love them (gifts). I EDC the Regular Sebbie. Enjoy and LOL this won't be your last one!

First small Sebenza. ;) I have an Umnum, Regular Large, and 21 Large already. :D

This is worse then being bit by the Spyderco bug. :eek: Much more costly but the results are much more satisfying.
 
I don't think the small sebenza is small at all. I just received mine yesterday. For EDC, I don't really see what someone would need a larger blade for.

Then again, I tend to EDC a small slipjoint (swayback jack) so the small sebbie blade seems pretty large to me.

I was the same. My small was a great edc and then I got a large Insingo. Damn this knife has impressed me! I still miss my small as it is a great edc knife. The large just offers that extra TI and edge one might need when hunting or kitchen duty. The small was the perfect suit knife for me.
 
Too small, too big? I think it's really a matter of what your point of reference is. My first CRK was a large Sebenza. After that an Umnumzaan. When I got my first small I thought the same thing you did- "this thing is too small". Got rid of it pretty quick and stick to the larger ones now.
I've heard others say the exact opposite- that they started with a small and later picked up a large and found it too big.
My advice to anyone that's on the fence regarding CRK's- start with a small, they are cheaper!
 
In Khaki's or dress slacks (office stuff) = Small Seb
Jeans and weekend wear = Large Seb

Each is perfectly sized for these categories.


Until you introduce the Mnandi, then the Umnum, and now the Ti-lock, and all the stars fall all out of alignment. Still working on that one.

I actually just found a dealer who seems to have a number of the one piece knives in stock. :eek:

I still have a plain large 21 on my list along with a couple more regular models before I start thinking about quitting.
