I joined this forum specifically seeking information about these knives. My parents passed some time ago and they sold these knives in their gallery. I'm looking to pay off some of their debt so I can keep the home they left me by selling these items along with a slew of other merchandise. So, if this is the wrong forum for this discussion please accept my apologies in advance and move it to the proper section.

I'm looking for someone who can help me price these items - I'm not asking for a public discussion of it as it appears to be against the rules.

I've got several pictures but know these blades are in excellent condition. The money clip with tools is probably the only piece that needs a smidgen of polish on the scissors.

In my possession are two money clips (one with tools), a "Commander", a "Patron" and two "Sportsman's." All of these minus the Patron come with genuine animal hide cases (I can't tell if its gator but its certainly not snake). For the real collector, I've got a photo of Sam w/ his two dogs next to the kayak he used to make his daily trips when he was probably in his early 40s, newspaper clipping of whaling in Sequoia (sp?) and a few other info pamphlets..

... actually it seems I can only link to photos and not upload them in this forum. I have close ups of everything if anyone feels the need to see them and I'd be happy to email them to you but take my word - near mint condition.

Thank you in advance for your help!

You might want to edit your post.

You are not allowed to ask values, or hint about sales as a non paying member.

If you are looking to sell off a collection, you might need to upgrade to a dealer membership.

Noted & Edited. The idea of my post is to seek someone who can offer information - not sell. Is this appropriate??

Almost. The "pricing" of the item is a problem.

Paid members are allowed to sell, and ask for values.

If you want more information, I would add clear pictures, at a straight on angle, and include pics of the makers marks.

The best forum would be Bernard Levine's sub forum. That is where the "experts" roost.

This forum doesn't allow me to upload images, only link to them.

Thank you for your time, I'll seek help elsewhere I suppose - I'm not in the position to spend money for advise unfortunately.
