Which one do you prefer regarding the small regular or 21 Sebenza?

Handle shape and blade geometry, etc

:)

The regular for me every time, I have never really warmed to the classic Sebs be it large or small.

I have both and I prefer my 21. The action is smoother. I like the handle shape IMO it provides better control with out the ridges.

I like the 21. As for size, I carry a small in the office, and a large on the weekends. The large is a better food prep knife when I'm at the cabbin.

I very much prefer the 21. I had a regular, and did not really care for it.

I prefer the Classic or 21, The regulator with the ridges feels very uncomfortable, I have 5 large & 1 small and there all Classic's, Went to the Janesville Wisconsin knife show today and worked some tables that a friend of mine had Gary Moore from Moore Cutlery. Got to play with all his Sebenza's and check em all out. Came home with a "Brand New P-Series with Unique Graphic's & Polish blade, With out question the finest Sebenza I ever handled and now own, The back side really makes it being flat with no pocket clip at all. Its over 15 years old and looks like they made it yesterday. Will post some pictures if the sun every decide to come back out in the Chicago Land Area.

:D:D:D Rickster :D:D:D

Oh yeah, I definitely want to see some pics of that. Sounds like a beauty. What a score.

I think the ridges are not really all that comfortable either. I have warmed up to them a bit for the Large model but I much prefer the classic Small. It just locks into the hands.

I carried a small regular for almost a year. I've been carrying my Small 21 for about a month and to be honest, I like the ergos of the 21 better. My overall grip feels better and solid with the 21.

However, I love the blade shape of the Regular compared to the 21....

So for me I would get the small regular if you can(since they are d/ced) otherwise get a 21. You can't really go wrong either way.

I forgot to mention I also prefer the pocket clip on the 21. It's much easier to remove or put in your pocket. There is much less distance between the clip and the frame on the reg and it can be difficult to use at time. Especially when I'm in the car and the knives in my back pocket.

I LOVE the blade shape on the Regular Large, but when it comes to the small I feel like the 21 is sleeker, more elegant, more pocket friendly... I need to get one! The best reason to get any Regular Sebenza is because they don't make it anymore!

21 is nice how does it compare to the benchmade rift which has een my edc for over a year?

Ah rookie! jk. I'd say a year with a Benchmade qualifies the step up to the Sebenza. If you've never handled one you'll likely be blown away by the craftsmanship compared to a Benchmade.

OK Jed I am going to run with it , I always have thought put your money were your mouth is. I have always been a benchmade boy but ..... like all of you I love A+ QUALITY

The Rift is going to sit idle as of tommorrow , and the sebbie is going for a run we will start with a lot of wire to strip tommorrow in the am.
